A Web of Science ResearcherID is a unique identifier that connects an author with their works across the Web of Science products (Web of Science Researcher Profiles, and InCites). ResearcherID integrates into the Web of Science Researcher Profiles platform. Researcher Profiles is a platform which records, verifies, and displays peer reviewed contributions of researchers. ResearcherID on your Researcher Profile allows you to manage your publications, track citation counts and calculate your h-index. You can also add publications that are not indexed by Web of Science manually or import them from another source.

As the Scopus ID/Researcher Profile is automatically generated sometimes the algorithm can be incorrect and multiple/duplicate IDs/profiles can be created. You should check and claim your Web of Science author record profile to confirm:

You can add your Web of Science ResearcherID to NURO and when articles are found that match the ID they can be automatically added to your profile via automatic claiming (reviewing these is recommended) or you can be alerted via email when new article matches are found.
