  Second Reading Speeches are sections of parliamentary debates 

  Parliamentary debates are recorded in Hansard

  Include the position of the speaker within a ministry or shadow ministry if relevant

Note Number  Jurisdiction, Parliamentary Debates, Chamber, Full Date of Debate, Pinpoint (Name of Speaker, Position).

  • Where the author is a committee of a Parliament, the author should be cited as: Committee, Legislature
  • Include the chamber of Parliament in the author/committee name if this is not apparent in the committee's name
  • Include type of publication where appropriate  eg 'Report', 'Discussion Paper', etc.
