The University Library can assist researchers to meet the following funder requirements in terms of availability of metadata and open access to research outputs:
The ARC Open Access Policy requires that any research output arising from ARC funded research must be made openly accessible in an institutional repository (e.g. NOVA) or other acceptable location (e.g. publisher website or digital archive such as PubMed Central) within a 12 month period from the data of publication.
The metadata for the publication must be made openly accessible via an institutional repository as soon as possible but no later than 3 months from the data of publication.
The ARC Research Data Management Strategy encourages researchers to deposit data arising from funded research in publicly accessible repositories.
