ABOUT LIBRARY SEARCH

Library Search is the University of Newcastle Library's main discovery tool. We use Library Search to find and access library resources anywhere, anytime and on any device. Search by title, author or subject key words. 

Use the search bar to explore our Library Collections

WHAT CAN BE ACCESSED THROUGH LIBRARY SEARCH?

You can use Library Search to locate and access:  

  • eBooks subscribed to by the library 
  • Books, DVDs, journals and other physical items found in the Library 
  • Subscription online journal articles  
  • UON research papers and theses from the NOVA repository 

By logging in, you can use your MyLibrary account to perform the following tasks:

  • View, renew and place holds
  • Keep a list of your reading/borrowing history
  • Monitor the status of interlibrary loans
