Reflective writing and blogs: What is the difference between reflective writing and blogs?

This guide will show you how to write a blog for university assessments.

What is the difference between reflective writng and a blog?

What is the difference between reflective journal writing and a blog?
Reflective journal writing is a conversation with yourself where you are carefully thinking about, or reflecting on, a topic or experience.

A blog, on the other hand, is an online conversation you have with other people to exchange ideas and thoughts.

Sometimes these two terms are used interchangeably, so check with your lecturer to see if they mean a piece of reflective writing they want you to complete online, or a blog.
