University of Newcastle Library guides
This guide lists free open access resources that Alumni may access. Due to publisher licence restrictions, subscriptions to online resources are not freely available to Alumni. The Library continues to negotiate with publishers and suppliers to provide Alumni with access to as many resources as possible.
Alumni members may also access some of the Library’s electronic resources from within the library designated Library Catalogue terminals during Library opening hours. Access will vary according to current licensing agreements.
The Library is unable to guarantee access to electronic resources during times of high student demand, and bookings are not able to be made for designated Library Catalogue terminals.
Please also note that the University Library is unable to provide Alumni members with general access to the Internet, email, printing, or word-processing.
