Software for Home Use

The university has negotiated site licences for some software products. A site licence allows UON students to download software on to your personal computer at no cost to you. You will need to enter your student ID and password to download this software. The software for home use can be accessed at:

The library computers contain a range of standard software.

For a standard list of the software installed on the library PCs see the pdf file here

Equivalent programs to the University PC's (where available) have been loaded onto the Macintosh computers, including printing and scanning software, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.

You can also find the locations of software installed in the university PCs by using the Software Finder (Please note the Software Finder is currently under maintenance and will be available soon via Student Utilities available on the desktop of all university student PCs.
