Library Services for International Students: Request a book

An introduction to using the Library for international students at the University of Newcastle.

Request a book

If your book is located at a different University of Newcastle Library, or already out on loan, click in the "IN  LIBRARY" link.

This will take you to the book's record in the Library Catalogue. From here, you can click the "Request" button at the top of the record.

You will be asked to enter your student number and Library PIN to send the book to the library of your choice.

You will receive an email advising you when it is available for loan.

If the book you need is not held by one of our campus Libraries you can use the BONUS+ or Get it service to request it from another library within Australia or overseas.

Journal articles not held by the UON Library can also be requested using Get It or ArticleReach.

Have a look at Borrowing from other libraries for more information on these services, including user guides.
