Finding a book when you know the title

Trying to find a book and know the title? Watch the video below.

Search for an author's surname and some words from the title in the Library Catalogue NewCat+ when you are looking for a specific book.

Tips for books

  • Use quotation marks around the title to make your search more specific. Example: "Clinical reasoning".
  • The Library catalogue record for the book will include details of editions that are available - look for the latest.
  • For books which are available electronically there will be a link to the ebook provider.
  • Need to find the book in the Library?

Found a print book we don't have?
