Accessing Berghahn eBooks via iGLibrary

Search the Library catalogue Library Search for the eBook you wish to read.

Click on the "View full text in University of Newcastle - Berghahn ebook Collection" link.

You will then be able to access the Berghahn Books title via the  button.

The full text of the eBook will then open in iViewer+.

The reading size of the pages and navigation are controlled by the menu options at the bottom of the page.

Printing Berghahn eBooks via iGLibrary

Berghahn Books applies limits to how much of an eBook can be printed.

Open the eBook by clicking on the  button. The eBook title will open in iViewer+.

From the top menu choose the Print icon. A 'Print Setting' pop-up window will ask you to set the page range to print:

Note that there are no automated options - you will need to know the exact page numbers.

This window also notes the printing allowance for the eBook.

Another pop-up window will prompt you to choose where you would like to print.

Downloading Berghahn eBooks via iGLibrary

iGLibrary uses its own reader for downloaded Berghahn eBooks. These eBooks are not accessible via Adobe Digital Editions or BlueFire Reader. You will need to download iGP Reader first if you want to read Berghahn titles offline.

 

Access the eBook title you wish to download. Choose the  option. You will be prompted to download iGP Reader if you haven't already.

Scroll down and click 'Next Step'.

Enter the number of days you wish to have access to the eBook (maximum is 14):

Click 'Next Step'.

You will be provided with a code in red to enter into iGP Reader:

When you enter the code the download will start on your device. Please ensure that you are connected to the internet/wireless for this step. There is also the option to scan the QR code for devices that have a camera.

Once the download completes you will be able to read the eBook title offline for the loan period you specified.
