What are Secondary Sources? Articles, chapters etc. written about a work e.g. the theorist Vygotsky. They describe, interpret, analyse, evaluate, explain or comment on a primary source or event in hindsight.
What are Primary Sources? Original materials, created at the time of an event or soon thereafter by somebody who collected data or experienced the event. They are often one-of-a-kind or rare sources and present original thinking, new discoveries or new information.
Beware Wikipedia! It can't be cited in academic work (avoid sites where authors aren't accountable for contributions)
Avoid Plaigiarism
Be careful not the use an authors work or ideas without referencing it (even if not directly quoted & you've changed words)
