What is BONUS+?
BONUS+ is a resource-sharing service that enables the lending of selected library material among the staff and students of participating universities from Australia and New Zealand.
What material is available in BONUS+?
BONUS+ is a free service which enables current staff and students to request loans of book titles not held at the University of Newcastle.The holdings of the member libraries are constantly being updated giving you access to a wider collection than that held at the University of Newcastle.
If the book that you need is not available in the University of Newcastle Library, if it is held at another BONUS+ library you can request it online and collect it a few days later from the pick-up location of your choice.
BONUS+ is only for requesting monogragh / book titles not held in the University of Newcastle Library collections.
- Journal articles can be requested through ArticleReach Direct.
- Book chapters, theses and conference papers need to be requested through get it . The get It service can be used when you can't find the items you require in either ArticleReach Direct or BONUS+.
