Search for an author's surname and some words from the title in the Library Catalogue NewCat+ when you are looking for a specific book.

 

Found a book we don't have?

  • If Newcastle doesn't have the print book you want, request it from another library using our BONUS+ and/or Get It Services.

Search for the author and some words from the title in the Library Catalogue NewCat+ if you are looking for a specific book, or type in keywords to find a selection of books on a topic.

 

Tips for books

  • When searching for books in the Library catalogue, NewCat+, it may be useful to add the surname of the first author.
  • Use quotation marks around the title to make your search more specific. Example: "Clinical reasoning".
  • If the Library has the book, the catalogue record for the book will be in the results list. It will include details of editions that are available.
  • For books which are available electronically there will be a link to the ebook provider.
